If you're not training with Rob, what's wrong with you? Just kidding. Rob is honestly one of the best in the business. With over 20+ years of experience and constant learning/refining of his skills he's a great coach. He's got multiple certifications under his belt and with that, he knows right away exactly what his clients need on top of letting them get to where they want or should be -- in a realistic and manageable manner. Words alone don't express the quality of his knowledge and training. He's got a strong presence that can't be beat and you know that when you're with him, he's there to bring out your fullest potential. I was referred to Rob by a friend after I moved to Vancouver last year. Rob helped me get back into the gym when I was in a total lull with my workouts. I’ve been lifting for years and already knew a lot about fitness, but I was struggling with motivation and figuring out what actually worked for my body in my 30s. What I appreciated most is that he didn’t just give me a generic program. He listened to how I wanted my body to look and built workouts around that. Rob is probably the best trainer in the lower mainland-he has extensive knowledge in personal training, and biomechanics. If you are having pain or have a certain weakness, he can tell right away and knows exactly how to solve the problem. For example, this one time I was having a bit of pain in my hip and when I walked in for my session Rob noticed immediately that my gait had changed (even though I didn’t even notice until he mentioned it to me) and the best thing was he changed our workout to accommodate for that. Whether you want to do resistance training, boxing or other forms of training, Rob is the best in the business. Highly recommend! ~ Vic D
I started to train with Ron in October 2022. He was recommended to me by a good friend who improved her physical condition tremendously working with Rob. It inspired me to try. I am 62 years old and retired in March 2022. I was working too much, was not is shape and figured out it was time to look after my physical condition. After almost 10 months of training with Rob, I can only say good things. He is very knowledgeable and make sure I train properly to avoid injuries. I would highly recommend Rob as a personal trainer for your fitness, health and nutrition needs. Rob has been consistent with his work and professionalism in the health and fitness for as long as I can remember (10+ years). He stays current and relevant with health and fitness knowledge, especially when we live in a digital era. You have the option of training online or in-person. Rob is great to have as a trainer if you are wanting to be challenged while feeling good and safe doing your program, he is the guy. About 10 months ago, I’d hit a wall with my training as I was barely improving in strength and had uninspired workout routines. So, I decided to find a trainer and after looking extensively I decided to start training with Rob. I knew from our initial conversation that he was someone that understood my pain points and how to remove them, and would work hard with me to achieve my goals. Rob didn’t start me with the biggest weights or the most intense routines, instead he realized quickly through my movement that my biggest issues stemmed from my lack of mobility and flexibility. That’s where we started and I quickly saw improvements, and within a few months I was able to properly do exercises I never could before. After 10 months, my health is the best it's ever been, and I’ve achieved all my goals pertaining to strength and weight. Rob has always been professional, understanding, and patient. I’ve started working out with Rob two months ago. A friend of mine recommended him. I was pretty skeptical at first because I didn’t have good experiences with trainers. I am 50 and not all trainers know how to train age appropriate. He is an amazing trainer, understands and works with my needs and has been able to improve my resistance and posture but most importantly, he brought back my love for exercising . Rob is the best. I went to him with a persistent issue in my right shoulder, and he was able to quickly assess what was going on and tailor a plan that actually made a difference. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and he really watches your form and adjusts things in a way that feels both safe and effective. Rob is everything I want in a trainer, methodical and science based. Rob takes a holistic approach from your diet, your goals, factors in past/current injuries and builds a clear, achievable plan.
